Paris for the first time
With this dreamy itinerary, your first time in Paris, France will certainly not be your last.
CAFE DE FLORE
Start your first morning at the iconic Café de Flore in the 6th Arrondissement with cappuccinos and croissants - just make sure to arrive before 9AM to secure a table outside.
Eiffel Tower
For the best view of the Eiffel Tower (with a lack of a crowd) map yourself to Pont d'Iéna. On the opposite side of the Siene, while facing the Eiffel Tower, walk to the right. You’ll find a staircase leading down along the river. Every hour, on the hour, the Eiffel Tower puts on a sparkling show - this is sure to be one of your most memorable moments of the trip.
Palace of versailles
My top recommendation for your first trip to Paris is a day at the Palace of Versailles. Book your tickets in advance (for an early time slot, before 10AM) and take a taxi just under an hour outside of the city. Explore the Palace, rent a golf cart for 40€, and wander through every inch of the grounds. You can stay as little or as long as you like - but I recommend allocating at least 4-6 hours to truly explore.
Sacré-Cœur
Visting Sacré-Cœur Basilica and the surrounding Montmartre neighborhood is a MUST for any Paris itinerary. Be prepared - it’s an uphill climb with many flights of stairs - but the view is beyond worth it. While you’re in the neighborhood, stop by La Maison Rose for classic french fare.
Pink Mamma Paris
Is Pink Mamma Paris worth it? After trying The Famous Truffle Pasta it’s a yes from me. We arrived at around 11:30AM (30 minutes before opening) to wait in the queue outside, as we didn’t have a reservation. We were seated immediately. This spot is a MUST-TRY with one of the most gorgeous interiors in Paris.
The Siene
When visiting Paris for the first time, enjoy hours meandering along the Siene, browsing the outdoor vintage bookstores and poster shops.
